Avenged Sevenfold is famous as metal core band. The group was formed when its members were still in high school. M. Shadows explains that they are of 18 years old when they made their first record of "Sounding The Seventh Trumpet". They took much effort to develop this album. Finally in 2001 this album was released.

In the year of 2003 Avenged Sevenfold's album Waking The Fallen was released. This is the most brilliant and broadcasting album from all five band members in musicianship. This album was produced by Mudrock and Fred Archambault. It was successful attempt in complex six-minute epics.

Avenged Sevenfold's live show is just as intense and dynamic, with a radical package of visuals, lights and a distinguishable appearance; a guaranteed far cry from the standard-fare, straight-off-the-streets air of most hardcore and punk bands.

In March 2003, Guitar World said that the band completely blur the line between metal and punk. The magazine also noted that the band would be as comfortable on the Ozzfest stage as it is playing punk rock dives.
