Christina Aguilera - Biography

Chrishina is daughter of Ecuadorian and Irish. She was born on 18th December 1980 in Staten Island, New York. She attended the North Allegheny School District. Her father name is Fausto Wagner Xavier Aguilera who is U.S. Army sergeant. When she was 19 they moved to the Staten Island. Her mother is Shelly Loraine Fidler who is Spanish translator.

Her father and mother met at Earnest Harmon Air Force Base in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador. When they married her mother was 20 and her father was 32. Chrishina lived with her parents up to her age of 6 before divorce of her parents. After words she lived with her grandmother.

Chrishina's grandmother notices her voice first. She has decided her goal, as she became a professional singer. Mariah Carey, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston these are list of fan of Chrishina and she grew up with all these artists.

She is talented, when she was child, she always took part in competition and at block parties and with little effort she defeats her opponents. She was known as "little girl with big voice".

Chrishina appeared on Star Search in 1990 singing ""A Sunday Kind of Love" but she didn't got success. Later she sang "Vision of Love". "Be a strong female - don't be afraid of the flack that goes along with that." -Christina Aguilera.

In 2001 she has performed a no.1 worldwide smash hit "Nobody wants to be lonely". For MTV Video Music Awards she nominated for 6. In the same year she has received 11 nominations. For "Lady Marmalade" she has received two awards in 2001 of MTV Video Music. She was at no.1 on Maxim's Hot 100 of 2003 and in 2004 was at no.3. In 2005 Chrishina was at 27 in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005" special supplement.
