After joining WXTV Channel 41m Daisy Fuentes began to develop acting credits and landed a role on the ABC soap opera Loving. She also appeared on shows including The Larry Sanders Show, Dream On, and Cybill. For three seasons, Daisy was the host of America's Funniest Home Videos.

Daisy fuentes hosted The Alma Awards, the 1998 World Music Awards, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, Miss USA, the 1999 Billboard Latin Awards, the Miss Teen USA of 1999, and Miss Universe pageants.
