A brown haired and 5'9" tall Elizabeth Hurley wants to become a dancer. She went to a ballet boarding school when she was of 12 years old. But she returned home very soon and joined college. Hurley won a scholarship to the London Studio Centre which taught courses for dance and theater. Very soon Elizabeth Hurley looks like a punk rock girl with pink hair and a nose ring.

For the purpose of getting jobs she changed her style and look to one that was castable. Elizabeth Hurley worked in the theater after her college. In 1987 she made her first screen debut in Aria. After that she did various television roles. She also appeared in a film Remando al viento in 1988. This film included a young actor named Hugh Grant.

Elizabeth Hurley was also appeared in BBC serial Christabel (1988), a television serial. Also she made her film debut in a Hollywood movie Passenger 57 (1992) which was a Wesley Snipes action drama. In 1994, Hurley and Hugh Grant set up Simian Films in partnership with Castle Rock Entertainment.
